But this innocent-looking key fob hides a deadly purpose.

Small enough to fit in the palm of your hand it is actually a double-barrelled gun capable of wounding and even killing a man.

The terrifying new escalation of Britain’s gun culture was revealed in a landmark court case in which a clubber who shot a man with the weapon was jailed for nine years.

1. The .25 is a notoriously underpowered cartridge. With such a short barrel, it wouldn’t be very effective beyond knife range. So why not just carry a knife? Cheap, noiseless, and available at any supermarket.

2. Because people will instinctively notice a knife. This doesn’t look like a gun. And im sure it will at least scare the attacker, if not temporarily disable him.

3. Because with a gun, you just press a button you need no training or combat proficiency. Just point and shoot like a digital camera.

   I think there is a chance you could fire this and palm it and potentially not be seen as the shooter. Where I think most people would see you wield a knife and stabbing someone.

   Get this near the back of someones head and shoot then try to vanish in the crowd.

   I agree though, knives are silent, but I think you need to know how to use them while any idiot can use a gun.

   The real question is why kill someone in a club where you will likely be seen. That’s not a guy who cares if he gets away.

12. The .25 is very under powered and w/ virtually no barrel(s) on this weapon I doubt very much that even@ point blank the bullets would penetrate a heavy coat. The better choice would be .22: has over twice the muzzle vel.& a smaller dia. = deeper penetration.By the way, Matt Everett, did you notice that it takes both hands to fire this weapon? No “push a button” on this one. A knife is quieter but messy. Think about it. Yes to all, I do know a little about weapons & fighting.

I am an American and I don’t know anyone that has ever handled a real gun or weapon that would flippantly indicate they would kill someone for “pissing them off.” That is the kind of crap you see in movies or hear in rap songs. I have also lived in the UK since 1998 and I can tell you this a violent frickin place—you lot are always kicking each others heads in or stabbing or shooting each other every night. So maybe you should look around at your own country before you join the ranks of ignorant Yank haters!

Hey, I’m English and I agree with some of you, disagree with some of you as well, the point is, someone is making these purely for money, these are not military/civilian weapons, they have simply been developed to earn money as real guns are getting harder to conceal AND purchase.Yes, there are a lot of guns on the street, but these are normally borrowed and must be returned un-used or if they have been fired they cannot resell them on. Gangs only exist because we let them, soon it will be on the news that a 14 year old had been thrown into the side of a van and found with his arms/legs broken and thrown out into his yard/patch/whatever as a sign that street gangs will not be tolerated anymore by normal law abiding people. It will happen and it will happen soon, normal people have had enough of being scared to walk out in daylight nevermind night time. How much would you pay a stranger if they approached you and could act out justice/revenge for the person/people who scared/touched/humiliated/robbed/raped/killed any one of your loved ones? Keep watching the news, one day it will happen but how far will it go???
