Facebook Water Fight Turns Violent

Facebook is a great way of connecting to people, be it your ex-boyfriend’s stupid new girlfriend or your ex-best-friend with her stupid new nose job. Or, alternately, you can meet fun strangers who will punch you in the face during public water fights. Such is the case for one girl in London, who was punched off her feet by some huge, angry dude after dousing him with juice in a water fight advertised on Facebook. Young schoolchildren were also somehow thrown off horses during the fighting. Which is not at all funny, so don’t laugh:

The attack happened at around lunchtime yesterday near the Serpentine in London’s Hyde Park.

Nine people were later arrested after gangs of youths ran amok, threatening the public, flashing knives and causing riding school children as young as five to be thrown from their horses.

Jesus Christ. What sort of person punches someone, especially a much smaller young woman, forcefully in the face for getting some juice on him? And why are five-year-olds frolicking about on horseback during water fight? Juice boxes and ponies and punches to the face? This sounds suspiciously like a children’s birthday party in central Florida.

12. I’ll bet no one will say anything if the girl had punched him instead, right? We live in a misandrist society where it’s ok for girls to hit boys but not ok for boys to hit back.
